Fellowship

Fellowshiping with Others

We stand firmly by the Biblical standard in Acts 10:34--“Of  a truth I perceive, that God is no respecter of persons.”  He loves us all equally, and wants us to love each other equally.  We have been blessed by God to have a very diverse congregation, that practices unconditional love.  We strive as a congregations, to reach out to our community and embrace people of all ethnicities.

The Word

Learning the Word

We believe that the Bible is our “Instruction Manual” for living the “Good Life” on this earth. 2 Timothy 3:16-17--“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.  That the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.  We believe that you can find Biblical Relevance for all of life’s situations.  Life will have a firm foundation when you build it on the Word of God.

Serving

Serving the Lord

Our desire is to be ever expanding our Service to the Lord.  We feel it is both a Privilege and an Honor to serve our divine purpose in life, by serving God and serving others. We have many opportunities for hands-on involvement in using your gifts to reach others.  We believe that each person, in the body of Christ, has his own special purpose, and we desire to encourage you to find your purpose in God’s Kingdom.

Worship

Worship the King

Our belief is that first and foremost, that God is to be the center of your life.  We believe that the main reason we assemble together, as a family of God, is to worship Our Lord.  As we humbly seek to trust Him and put our Faith in Him, He will give us His Wisdom, His Peace and His Blessing.  We desire for you to know the fullness of God and the overflowing power of His Love.

Things to Ponder

At times it seems that we all hold on to something. It might be our past friendships, relationships or experiences we've had in the past. It could even be a sickness that has come on our bodies that we hold on to. We come to tell you that we need loose the things of the past.

It's time that we hold onto the anchor that never fails. That anchor is Jesus Christ , the solid rock. He is the only one that we can look to and draw strength from. We are not going to receive anything from holding on to the past friendships, relationships or experiences. It's only when we hold on to and stand firm in our faith that we know God is able to do that which He has promised. Jesus is the anchor-He's the only thing that is rock solid, 100% guaranteed, to hold fast and never fail.

As I was praying this week Lord begin to speak to me about holding on to the anchor. We can't change our circumstances, but he can. We try to fix them to no avail and we just end up making a bigger mess of things. In this society that we live in, where everything see to be falling apart, the anchor holds.

The Bible tells us that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever that means He changes not. He doesn't waiver. He holds fast. One of the things that we need to realize is that by holding onto the past, you can't go forth into the future… the two don't go together. This world is messed up and falling apart. If you don't have Jesus, you don't have hope, for he is the resurrected Son of God.

There is a commercial on TV that says “What's in your wallet?” Instead, ask yourself, what are you holding on to? What are you protecting? Is it your relationship with God or your past experiences? There is no help in this world that we live in, other than Jesus. I'm encouraging you to hold on, be steadfast and unmovable. The only way to do that is to be anchored in Jesus Christ. We have proven time and time again that God is faithful. I will share some more of my experiences at another time.

The way to stay “holding on” to the anchor, is to stay in prayer. We must constantly communicate with God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost. We can't go wrong by praying. We need to pray like we've never prayed before. We need to believe like we've never believed before. We need to stand on the Word of God.

After 42 years of serving the Lord, I can say He's never failed me and He's never left me. He is the only thing that we can be sure of. So grab a hold of the anchor and watch Jesus do miracles.

Does God Care? PDF Print E-mail

Are you wondering if God loves you or is interested in what is happening in your life?
The psalmist David wrote: "You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. How precious are your thoughts about me, O God!
They are innumerable! I can't even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up in the morning you are still with me!  Psalms 139:16-18 (NLT) emphasis are mine
Life sometimes can be lonely and difficult. It can be easy to question God. There are things in life that are always constant and one of them is that God loves us. He has a plan for your life and according to
Romans 8:29 the goal of His plan is to make us to be like Christ. So, sometimes like a potter that works with the clay, God has to take out the hardness and impurities from us and has to use
pressure to mold us and heat to make us into what He has planned for us to be. If you're feeling the pressure and the heat in your life and you're wondering does God love me or care about me,
just remember He is making something beautiful out of you.
Be patient and know that God will not put on you more than what you can bear.
