Are you wondering if God loves you or is interested in what is happening in your life?
The psalmist David wrote: "You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. How precious are your thoughts about me, O God!
They are innumerable! I can't even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up in the morning you are still with me!  Psalms 139:16-18 (NLT) emphasis are mine
Life sometimes can be lonely and difficult. It can be easy to question God. There are things in life that are always constant and one of them is that God loves us. He has a plan for your life and according to
Romans 8:29 the goal of His plan is to make us to be like Christ. So, sometimes like a potter that works with the clay, God has to take out the hardness and impurities from us and has to use
pressure to mold us and heat to make us into what He has planned for us to be. If you're feeling the pressure and the heat in your life and you're wondering does God love me or care about me,
just remember He is making something beautiful out of you.
Be patient and know that God will not put on you more than what you can bear.

How are women like grapes?

We have a tough exterior and yet we are soft inside.
We are good for your heart.
We like hanging out in bunches.
We are sweet and juicy! We can stand pressure.
But.......when you put on too much pressure, we will explode.

I believe that all Christians will go through tests in their lives.  Most of us will
Face tests within our family, with our finances, with patience, and with our health at times.  When these test come, we are given the opportunity to look at the situation
And either get in fear and lack of faith, or trust God and believe Him when we cannot see any good thing coming.  “Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things unseen.”  Hebrews 11:1

"I AM" PDF Print E-mail

John 6:35  " I AM the Bread of Life".

Are you hungry for something in this life, yet you can't put your finger on what it is?  You need to know that God created you , and only He can give life meaning and satisfy your soul.  When we try to fill life's hungers with things, and not God, we will always end up empty.  He created you, and put inside of you a hunger that only He can fill.

John 8:12  "I AM the light of the World."

Are you confused?  Does life seem fearful because you can't see what's coming up ahead?  Jesus is the light and He alone can dispel the darkness in your life. In the darkness, it's easy to stumble over things you can't see.  Does it seem like you get into trouble often and you can't figure out why?  You need to know that Jesus it eh light and He illuminated the hidden things that cause you to fall.

John 10:11  "I AM the Good Shepherd."

Life can be like a person who is in a maze and everywhere he turns, you seem to come to a dead end.  It's easy to become weary and frustrated with this kind of living.  Jesus is the shepherd who wants to lead us and take care of us.  He alone know the way, for He is the way. As a shepherd, He is faithful to his sheep in providing healing and leading them into "green pastures".  If you will give Him all that you are, He will direct your life much better than you or anyone else can.  So, trust Him today by asking Him to take over, and listen for that "still small voice" as He shows you the correct path.

There are many more "I AM" passages in God's Word.  Here are only three, but it is apparent form just these three passages that God created us to need Him.  Without Him we are in constant need, but with Him, ther is no need.  As David said, "The Lord is my shepherd, I SHALL NOT WANT.  So call out to Him today and everyday, for He is all that you need.  He owns all the world and everything in it!

Attitude of Gratitude PDF Print E-mail

Thankfulness is not something we do: it's the way we feel deep down inside. Saying "thank you" is not the same as actually being thankful. Thankfulness is an attitude, and the biggest part of that thankful attitude is the way in which we accept God in our lives. We need to realize that God is good and He is the source of every good thing in our lives. In 1 Chronicles 16:4-36 there are 3 points that I believe are important in maintaining an attitude of gratitude.
